Users & Buyers

A company may only succeed once the users and buyers of their product are identified. This is a very important part of the process because these are the people who will be buying and/or distributing the product. Users are the people who will directly use the product, whereas buyers may be the larger companies that distribute the product. One cannot exist without the other.

The primary market would be wheelchair users. ASMO Inc. envisions this product as readily available for those in need of it. A user would be able to purchase this product from anywhere that sells basic medical equipment. Locations where the product could be sold include Walgreens, CSS Medical & Respiratory, National Seating and Mobility NE, and Waterbury Medical Equipment Supply.

A secondary market would consist of hospitals and nursing homes. These locations would have the devices in stock, ready to attach to any wheelchair that required it. This would assist caretakers by making sure the wheels stay clean. These types of facilities are always looking for ways to increase efficiency in the workplace as efficiency on their part leads to a safer work environment.
